Meet Our Dental Team
Barbara
Treatment Planner/Team Lead
Barbara became a member of the Cleveland Family Dentistry team in 2016, bringing 25 years of experience in the dental field. She is our Front Office Team Lead, assisting with duties and decision making to help keep our office running smoothly, day in and day out. Additionally, she does our treatment planning to ensure that our patients understand their treatment, are scheduled and on track with their appointments, and make the most of their benefits. When she’s not in the office, Barbara loves working in her garden and singing. With her gardening experience, she excels at crafting creative floral arrangements!
Rhonda
Insurance & Billing Coordinator
Rhonda joined Cleveland Family Dentistry in 1990 as a Registered Dental Assistant. She is very experienced and has done just about everything in our office at one point or another, but currently she oversees our insurance and billing department. Rhonda’s work involves researching and inputting patients’ insurance plans, communicating with the insurance companies, and making sure that each patient is using their benefits in the best way possible. Outside of the office, Rhonda enjoys volunteering on several committees. She’s been a lifetime member of the Houston Livestock Show and a committeeman of the HLSR Liberty County Metro Go Texas Committee since 1997. She served on the board of the Cleveland Livestock Show from 1987-2007, Big Thicket Ducks Unlimited committee since 2007, and she helps the M Club each year with their annual crawfish boil to raise scholarship money for the students at Tarkington High School. She also enjoys traveling and spending time with her six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Norma
Hygiene Coordinator
Norma joined our practice in 2017 and has more than 23 years of experience working in dentistry. Norma is responsible for scheduling our patients’ hygiene appointments and acts as a liaison between patients and their benefits providers. In this position, she makes it easier for people to keep up with their oral hygiene needs and makes sure they receive appropriate support from their dental insurance policies. She is also one of the friendly voices our patients hear when they call our office to schedule appointments and ask questions. Outside of work, Norma loves spending time with friends and family, watching the latest Netflix series, and traveling.
Regina
Registered Dental Hygienist/Team Lead
Regina joined Cleveland Family Dentistry in 1991 and serves as our Dental Hygienist Team Lead. Her team and her patients love how quickly and easily she can adapt to different situations and provide great care for patients as individuals. She is also committed to understanding how she can best provide care in the office and through education, so patients have an easier time taking care of their teeth and gums between appointments. Outside of the office, Regina loves to make trips to Canyon Lake with her friends and family, and she always enjoys finding fun, new restaurants to try!
Brandy
Registered Dental Hygienist
Brandy has been a part of the Cleveland Family Dentistry team since 2009 and completed her Dental Hygiene Program in 2007. In her role as a dental hygienist, Brandy spends time helping our patients by thoroughly cleaning their teeth and educating them on how they can do a more effective job protecting their dental health at home. By bonding with patients and understanding their current approach to oral care, she can identify areas for improvement and help them stick to better habits in the future.
When she’s not in the office, Brandy loves to spend time with her husband (her high school sweetheart!) and family and attend her kids’ sporting events. She’s also an active member of her church.
Maddie
Registered Dental Hygienist
Maddie joined Cleveland Family Dentistry in the Spring of 2024, just after completing her Dental Hygiene degree. This is not, however, her first experience in the dental field. Maddie was a Registered Dental Assistant for 8 years prior to now working as a Registered Dental Hygienist. We are so grateful to have her on our team, as she brings plenty of experience, yet a fresh perspective in the practice of oral hygiene. Maddie’s favorite thing about being a Hygienist is that it allows her the opportunity to make a positive impact on patients’ lives by contributing to their overall well-being. In Hygiene school, she won the Proctor and Gamble Preventative Dentistry Award for always placing her patients’ needs at her highest priority through compassion, concern, and education. In Maddie’s spare time, she enjoys being with her family, going on road trips, and hunting. She also enjoys volunteering with the “Give Kids A Smile” organization.
Christina
Registered Dental Assistant/Team Lead
Christina’s position as our Dental Assistant Team Lead requires her to cover many different responsibilities. On top of working clinically as an assistant, she places orders for all of our dental supplies, manages her department, and trains other assistants to keep our practice running smoothly. As a member of our team since 2012, Christina provides great office support through her maturity and organizational skills and has a remarkable eye for detail. When she works with patients, Christina helps them feel comfortable in the dentist’s chair and throughout their entire treatment experience. In her personal life, Christina is a major fitness enthusiast, and she’s active in CrossFit. She and her husband have 2 girls, and they enjoy outdoor activities as a family.
Sarah
Registered Dental Assistant
Sarah has been a dental assistant for more than 18 years and joined our practice in 2018. She is committed to treating her patients with phenomenal care. Her patients can expect gentle and thorough treatment. Sarah enjoys building a foundation of trust with her patients and giving them the smiles that they deserve. She is always inspired by the infusion of confidence when patients leave the office with improved smiles. Sarah has volunteered with Dentistry from the Heart and our annual Free Day of Dentistry. Her hobbies include hunting, fishing, and being on the lake or beach. She also enjoys shopping and spending time with her family.
Joanna
Registered Dental Assistant
Joanna joined our practice in the Spring of 2024. She started shadowing with us as she was finishing up her Dental Assisting program, and began as a Dental Assistant as soon as she became licensed. She has great attention to detail, is very personable, and enjoys getting to know all of our patients. Her favorite thing about being a Dental Assistant is seeing the patients’ reactions and smiles after having their cosmetic and restorative work completed. In Joanna’s personal life, she enjoys attending her children’s sporting events and extracurricular activities. She is active in the children’s ministry at her church, and is on the board of the Cleveland Basketball Little League program.
Shana
Hygienist
Shana joined our Dental Hygiene team in 2025 with 11 years of prior experience. What she enjoys most about being a dental hygienist is giving people access to the excellent dental care they deserve by helping them to feel comfortable at the dental office. It brings her joy to develop relationships with patients, and she feels connected to them in a special way since she herself is from this community. Shana takes pride in being able to help patients understand everything about their oral health. In fact, she received the Proctor & Gamble Teaching Excellence Award in Dental Hygiene school, and she continues to practice with patient education as a top priority. In her free time, Shana keeps busy on her farm with her husband and 2 boys, crafting, and attending concerts and comedy shows. A big piece of her heart is in Texas Rescue Riders, which is a dog rescue program that she has been a foster coordinator with for 5 years.
Marissa
Registered Dental Assistant
Marissa joined our practice in 2025 as a Registered Dental Assistant with a year of prior experience. Here at Cleveland Family Dentistry, she takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable and confident in their smiles, while developing relationships with them as they come back in for checkups, cleanings, and various procedures. She truly cares about each patient and gets to know them as individuals, so she can help to provide personalized care. When she is not working, Marissa enjoys spending time outdoors and with her family and friends
