Dr. Bonnette brings an impressive academic background, a strong commitment to clinical excellence, and a heartfelt dedication to patient-centered care. Originally from Shreveport, LA, Dr. Bonnette graduated as valedictorian of Calvary Baptist Academy. She began her undergraduate studies in biology at Louisiana Tech University before completing her Bachelor of Science at Louisiana College in Alexandria. She then continued serving her community as an educator for four years, earning a master’s in teaching and making a meaningful impact on the students and families she served.
Her desire to help others ultimately led her to pursue dentistry. Dr. Bonnette was accepted into the LSU Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry in New Orleans, where she distinguished herself academically. She graduated with distinction and received recognition for excellence in prosthodontics.
Dental Care Experience
Since finishing dental school, Dr. Bonnette has continued to strengthen her skills in practice. She is deeply committed to lifelong learning. Most recently, she completed a comprehensive seminar on oral pathology, an aspect of dentistry she’s particularly passionate about. This training has equipped her to recognize and manage complex systemic and intraoral conditions with a focus on early detection.
What truly sets Dr. Bonnette apart is her heart for patients who have experienced dental trauma or fear. She understands that many people arrive at the dental office only when discomfort becomes unbearable. Her greatest joy as a dentist is changing those experiences by showing patients that dentistry can be compassionate, gentle, and trustworthy. She strives to treat every patient with the same care she would offer to a family member.

Outside of work, Dr. Bonnette enjoys spending time with her partner and daughter, hiking, visiting the zoo and aquarium, baking, reading, endurance running, and relaxing with family and friends.
